Skin infections: Redness, swelling, or pus from unsterilized equipment or contaminated ink.


Allergic reactions: Itchy rashes, bumps, or scaling at the site, which can show up years later.


Inflammation and bumps: Formation of granulomas (small knots of inflammatory cells) around the ink.

EXPECTATIONS


Healing: sore, warm, tender, slightly swollen, Itch, Flake, Peel, Form light scabs, Look cloudy or dull


What to Wear:

  • Arm or shoulder tattoo
  • Sleeveless or loose short-sleeve shirt.
  • Leg or thigh tattoo:
  • lose shorts or pants
  • Foot or ankle tattoo:
  • Shoes that will not rub against the area afterward.


Contact a medical professional:

  • Redness
  • Redness that is spreading
  • Pain that becomes worse
  • Increasing warmth or swelling
  • Pus or unusual drainage
  • A strong odor
  • Red streaks
  • Fever
  • A severe or spreading rash
  • Significant swelling
  • Difficulty breathing

DO'S

  • Bathe before service.
  • Avoid oily moisturizers
  • Hydrate before service
  • Skip alcohol
  • Skip blood thinners

Avoid:

  • Pools
  • Bathtubs
  • Hot tubs
  • Lakes
  • Rivers
  • The ocean
  • Saunas
  • Steam rooms
  • Direct sunlight

Service rejection

  • Sunburn
  • Cuts
  • A rash
  • Significant irritation
  • Severe dryness
  • Bruising

Wait for tattoo to dry

Apply Aquaphor the first week.

Second week apply fragrance free, colorless lotion

On a healed tattoo use sunscreen broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher

Wear the bandage for no more than 6 to 8 hours PER DAY

Wear the bandage for UP TO 2-5 days

Remove immediately if the bandage if the plasma/blood seeps through the barrier

Remove bandage immediately if the tattoo becomes exposed in any part. 

Remove immediately if the bandage if the barrier is damaged

Remove immediately if you notice signs of an allergic reaction

Do Not Rush the tattooing process service require:

  • Picking at tattoo

  • Do not let pets scratch tattoo
  • Do not let pets lie directly against a new tattoo
