MANICURIST & PEDICURIST

 

Qualifications: 

 

  • State Board Certification.
  • Must carry 3-party business insurance.
  • Reliable Transportation.
  • Read and acknowledge safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Must be up to date with flu / covid vaccinations. 
  • Must provide own equipment and traveling supplies.

 

Experience Level:

 

  • Beginner Level - 6 months to 1 year: basic manicure & pedicure with lacquer and gel polish services. Limited to only remove nail enhancements of acrylic, dip powder, builder gel, polygel and gel polish. Lacquer color change. However, beginner manicurist is restricted to perform nail enhancement application on client.  Up to 3 clients a day.

 

  • Advanced Level – 1 year to 18 months with beginner to minimum experience: Manicurist can perform manicures & pedicures basic and enhancements short to medium size only of dip powder; silk nails; polygel with lacquer or gel polish. Including beginner duties of removing nail enhancements of acrylic, dip powder, builder gel, polygel and gel polish. Lacquer color change. However, advanced manicurist is restricted from nail art. Up to 7 clients a day.

 

  • Expert Level 18 months + with experience: perform manicures & pedicures basic and enhancements of dip powder; silk nails; polygel with lacquer or gel polish. Apply acrylic enhancements of any size and shapes. Allowed to apply nail art. In addition, including beginner duties of removing nail enhancements of acrylic, dip powder, builder gel, polygel and gel polish. Lacquer color change and travel for business request. Will be allowed to become a consultant coordinator after 32 months of service as an expert.

 

Job Description:

 

  • Travel as a Freelancer; job titled: Self-employed professional.
  • Must be able to walk up and down a flight of stairs with personal equipment.
  • Strong time management skills before, during, and after services.

Prepare and clean workstation before and after appointments.

  • Must be able to sit and stand for long periods for manicuring service.
  • Must be able to bend; squat and raise up for pedicuring service.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively.
  • Document and log clients' conditions and determine whether he or she is able to receive services.
  • Take an interest in customers (e.g. chatting with them during appointments and remembering their preferences).

 

Shift and Pay:

  • Shift: as desired
  • Type of pay: by offer (varies) + traveling expenses / tips.
