CATERING

 

Client’s requests:

  • Personal or Professional Services:
  • Breakfast; Lunch / brunch; or Dinner
  • Event potluck assistance
  • Event assistance
  • Special events. 
  • Professional catering services for parties; weddings; business events etc.
  • Prepare all food; ingredients; seasoning and instructions.

 

Qualifications:

  • Must become or possess a ServSafe food handler and allergen certification.    
  • Alcohol certification is optional but limited work if not certified.
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
  • Must be able to frequently reaches, lifts, & bend.
  • Cleaning to maintain service area.
  • Prior restaurant /or banquet serving experience.
  • Must be able to read instructions listed to prepare meals.
  • Read and acknowledge all polices, terms and conditions.
  • Must be up to date with flu / covid vaccinations. 
  • Must carry 3-party business insurance.
  • Must be screened for criminal background check.
  • Reliable Transportation.

 

Experience:

  • 0 +: Applicate does not need a culinary diploma to provide service. But more opportunities will be offer if certified. 
  • Having a strong history food service, prepping, handling or hobby.
  • Willing to cook any dish that is instructed from client of any breakfast. Brunch, Lunch, grilling, snacking or dinner. Limited to (food allergies)

 

Job Description:

Prepare work areas before functions such as but limited to:

  • Cleaning and disinfecting counter tops, washing dishes, tabletops; microwave, sweeping / mopping kitchen or dinning floor.
  • Prepping dish and reading instructions on type of seasoning
  • Cooking without leaving kitchen area unattended for no more than restroom breaks or small smoke breaks of 7 minutes.
  • After food is complete; properly dish food in containers for serving.
  • Set table, with dish wear and food.
  • Wash dish wear used.
  • Clean kitchen area; and take out trash.

  

Responsibilities:

All professionals must present themselves well groomed.

  • Clean and ironed clothes; Scrubs and clogs can be worn with apron, dark colored dark blue or black is preferred.
  • Neat hair; must be pulled back and in a net. Men; short facial cut or net on beard.
  • Clean nails; must wash hands regularly and gloves worn at all times.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong time management skills before, during, and after services.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively.
  • Thrives in a fun, team-oriented environment
  • Support fellow associates and contribute to a positive and upbeat work environment through CLASSIC BOOK PORTAL. 
  • Communicate regularly with the Manager/Supervisor on work progress.
  • Maintain cleanliness.
  • Knowledge of appropriate table settings and proper set-up as well as having basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.

  • Shift: as desired
  • Type of pay: by offer (varies) + traveling expenses / tips.
