I developed & engineered Classic Bougie Cute when I became aware of the struggles many cosmetologists faced once they entered the cosmetology field.

After graduating and receiving my manicurist license, I desired to work alone with little to no support, little networking, & barely enough funding no clients, no prior experience. But I was still willing to give my passion as a manicurist a try.

Funding was a great challenge! Keeping up with up-to-date supply inventory; monthly payments for an independent space; marketing tools; bringing in clients and to still work my regular 9 to 5 to maintain. This concept was time consuming and more expensive than I imagined! 

Once I finally did gained clients, the competition was high! I never compared my work but to get clients that would come to me for services was stressful.

Pricing for service: either, you had low-cost cosmetologist that most will go to; or very high expensive professionals that had superior services that their work would all way be notice. And this factor alone had me believing I had no chance unless I continued with the upkeep expenses even when there were no costumers at all.

Finally, within the risk factors I start thinking about just given up and working in my home; but having strangers in my home was a risk of losing my license if I was to be reported. Or the fear of getting robbed because it was not a professional setting. I felt like I had my back against the wall.

The great disappointment had me thinking about my regular 9 to 5 job that really did not satisfy my thirst for art. I really got tired of the restrictions that was at hand. I finally wanted to do something that I loved and that was art; helping people; meeting new people and being in charge of my own income was the life stylist I wanted to live.

I know am not the only one that experienced these facts. So that's when I came into an idea to develop an application that can help not only me; but other cosmetology professionals that has to pay their way to be recognized and would like to stay within their field of choice without making the decision leave their independency.

Let alone have a stylist that can help you plan your big event. And lastly cute nails I will not stop applying my manicuring profession on display even when I don't have clients, I love colors and jewels!
